Welcome to the February 2007 Academy of Visual and Performing Arts Spotlight newsletter.

--The Frost Film Festival --coming tomorrow night at 7pm as a drive-in movie at the Huron entrance to CCHS
--Several items for the art students including their MOCA exhibition, LACMA's "ArtScene," the newly selected Ryman Arts Scholars and the ArtsBridge program with UCLA
--The theater students attending the LaVerne Theater Festival
--A visit to the film department by local film editor David Checel
--AVPA's new strategic planning process
--An interview with James Bentley, creator of the film festival's drive-in magic

In addition, we heard from alumni for the Real World Edition. And we have, of course, our announcements and the photo gallery from January.
